First Union can bank on Randstad's expertise
Randstad's affiliation with First Union is a prime example of how we are able to build
long-term, trusting relationships with our Clients. It began back in 1987 with Randstad
providing Flexible Staffing for First Union in the areas of administration and accounting.
By 1996, we were named a national primary staffing supplier.
In order to provide the best, most personalized service, we immediately put a dedicated
Account Team in place. This team has been paramount in identifying ways to better service
the account.
When they saw a need for consistency in methods and procedures, the Randstad team
customized a manual to be used by all Randstad staff members working with First Union.
They went on to customize a range of unique and helpful services, such as consolidated
invoicing, management reporting, orientation brochures, interview and screening processes
and more.
It is this intimate understanding of First Union's needs that has helped the relationship
flourish. The net result is that First Union has rated and awarded a Level One
Certification, the highest level of certification given to suppliers, to Randstad.
We are part of a select group of companies who have consistently demonstrated excellence
in the delivery of services to First Union resulting in the Level One Certification.

Cable Channel and Randstad Discover Primetime Partnership
Due to a highly successful partnership between Randstad and Discovery Channel Latin
America, the cable outlet's Miami Television Center is now the premier employer for
communication/broadcast professionals in South Florida.
Signed in 1997, the Discovery Channel Latin America contracted Randstad to provide
Entry Level to Senior Level employment services for the Miami facility. Also contracted
were traditional HR support, benefits and payroll services - major keys to the success
of this account.
Discovery also wanted to institute a custom benefits program to attract top Talent.
Randstad ran with the ball, providing Talent a comprehensive benefits package that
includes health, life, dental and vision insurance, short/long term disability, 401k
and credit union to compliment competitive salaries, specialized training and career
advancement opportunities. In addition, Randstad conducts quarterly employee satisfaction
surveys and hosts quarterly staff meetings to provide a channel for feedback allowing us
to maintain a constant pulse on Talent concerns and issues that are important to them.
The results speak for themselves: Randstad has increased Talent retention and morale
dramatically over the course of three years. Discovery expressed its pleasure by
extending the contract through December 2005.

Merrill Lynch counts on Randstad for the best Talent
One word describes the reason for Randstad's 12-year success with Merrill Lynch -
consistency. What began as Flexible Staffing services for vacation fill-ins has grown into
a Master Vendor partnership, with on-site management programs in various Merrill Lynch
locations.
Randstad meticulously oversees all the day-to-day operations of supplemental staffing
management. Our on-site approach allows us to carefully screen and place the right Talent
in the right job, over and over again. It also allows Merrill Lynch's Human Resources
department to focus on core competencies and embark on new projects.
What's more, our on-site management has given us key insights into the culture of Merrill
Lynch. We have been able to identify and customize services such as monthly management
reports, customized training and orientation. Additionally, we are able to share the same
Merrill Lynch values, ethics and business practices with the Talent we place.

Another discovery at Genzyme: Randstad's unique approach to staffing
As a primary staffing vendor for Genzyme, Randstad conducted an in-depth business analysis
of the account. We made a remarkable and exciting discovery: By taking an unconventional
approach - that is, providing on-site management of Genzyme's flexible workforce - Randstad
could bring tremendous value to their Human Resources Department.
We have since taken over duties that range from coordinating and managing the requisition
process to facilitating hiring for department managers and end users, tracking and comparing
budget vs. actual expenditure, and much more. As the partnership continues, Randstad
continues to find new ways to customize value-added programs.
The rewards have been great. Genzyme has realized significant savings by shifting many
responsibilities from a full-time Human Resources employee to Randstad's Account
Manager.

Randstad coins a trusting relationship with The Franklin Mint
When Randstad first began our relationship with The Franklin Mint, the Client was so
dissatisfied with their previous vendor and they had little trust of our industry as
a whole. Randstad earned The Franklin Mint's trust in our services.
With a 400 to 675-person temporary workforce, The Franklin Mint was an ideal candidate
for Randstad's Large Volume/On-site Management. We assembled a Randstad account team
of staffing specialists both on-site and off-site to focus 100 percent of their time
and energy on servicing and management of this enormous workforce. Our initial focus
was on recruiting Talent for The Franklin Mint's call center, administrative offices
and light industrial warehouse.
Our most measurable success was greatly reducing the turnover rate. As a result, we not
only gained The Franklin Mint's trust, but we've become consultants, suggesting long-term
strategies such as retention and recognition programs and ideas that enhance the
company's culture. The Franklin Mint and Randstad now share a true partnership.
